Scientific Bulb Supplier

So what should you look for in a quality scientific bulb supplier in the UK?

  • Wide range of brands
  • High quality product
  • Durable
  • Reliable delivery service
  • Protective packaging
  • Ability to source similar brands/products

Purchasing the appropriate scientific bulbs for your diagnostic equipment/medical instruments is very important – ensuring you use the correct brand and model of bulb for your specific lamp is crucial. There are several things you can do to ensure maximum durability and life span for medical and scientific bulbs. Ensure you never touch the glass part of the lamp with your hands, hold the lamp by the metal parts only and if you need to use both hands to insert the bulb, please use the foam insert that is within the box to wrap around the glass part or a soft tissue, to enable you to also support the lamp at the glass end.

Some equipment (such as a slit lamp) has a brightness control. Turn the control down to minimum before switching on, then let the lamp warm up for a minute or so, then turn the control to the required brightness.
